Check back when it goes live on March 25 for exact details. It's usually pretty straightforward where they give you a code and then that code can either be copied and pasted into a link or website to activate when you're logged into your MLB account. Look at the Wiki (informational post on the first page of the thread) once it goes live and more specifics are usually added there.

Also, as a new user, it's usually best to look for a long-term user with a decent amount of rep to trade with, as they're usually viewed as more reliable traders. A new user who's buying will usually look for a more established user to buy from and a new user who's selling usually looks for a more established user to sell to. Then the new user generally sends first to avoid scammers. If a new user looking to buy pairs with a new user looking to sell, it can be sketchy because neither have a reputation as a reliable trader, so neither one of them usually wants to send first for fear of getting scammed. If a user has a few hundred rep points, they're usually considered to be pretty reliable as a helpful SD user. If they have thousands of rep points, even more so.

Want to know how bad reading comprehension is in the United States? Look at all the people in this thread talking about MLS.... while this thread is about MLB..... and the deal doesn't start until next month. Sometimes you just lose faith in humanity.

Also, let us know if you successfully change the email address on an account with a subscription attached. That would be good to know for buyers who might want to switch to using their own email rather than a pre-made one. The option disappeared for a while last year, but it looks like it should be working currently and that would make for a seamless transfer.

The codes probably expired yesterday, so be sure to ensure that it still works before sending the AGC.

Cool … thanks for the confirmation. Yeah, I'm assuming it still works now unless we see reports that someone runs into an issue down the road. The option to change email died for a while last year, but I think it was probably when they updated the process since it now sends confirmation emails.

That's a nice option to have so buyers can just transfer the account to their own email rather than using pre-made account credentials if they prefer.

Be aware that MLB stopped transferring emails just one day after the codes expired on T-Life last year. Not sure what will happen this year.

I am not able to change the email address of the mlb account anymore. I can only "view" email address, not "change" it. I was able to yesterday but not today. Can you check if you have the "change" or "view" button?
same. i noticed that today as well. I know i could last year, but I haven't pay attention if I could change it to this year until i was told about it today. I check, any new account created couldn't change the email (only VIEW available, no CHANGE).

I'd look at their help page, it's still has old information. So, i guess unprompted change.

Yeah, it would be good to watch to see if anyone reports any changes. The email transfer option actually died about two days prior to the TMo code expiration last year, as I noticed it when doing some pre-made account testing. But I don't think many people noticed it until after the codes expired since that's when users started trying to transfer accounts by email to new buyers (instead of codes, since they expired). It's definitely a nice option to have if users can change the email, although not a big deal to stick with pre-made account credentials if not.

Edit: Actually, looking back at the old thread someone there says they were able to change email a day prior although I had issues with it even shortly before the expiration, so maybe MLB was experimenting with it earlier. At any rate, yes it's a good idea to keep an eye on it for changes as an FYI for people trading accounts.

I had 2 codes I got previously and sold (still have one more left), and it sounds like it is still working to redeem codes gotten previously, in case anyone was wondering...

Edit: Sold out now, thanks all, and hope everyone still can get elsewhere!
