I don't know how you get the hack to work anymore, When I check out it only allows me to pick shipping or pickup for both items, You can't ship one and pick up the other . It doesn't allow you to check out.
It you do place an order for pick up or delivery you they will no longer allow just one to be returned.

I'm with you here. I ordered. Will try and return the one item.

Either way you are going to have to go to a store.

You either ship both items to home and then visit the store to return the one you don't want.

Or select pickup, but then go into the cart and change the item you don't want to a different store - that item gets cancelled (after 10-15 days) because you don't pick it up. Sometimes the cancellation is automatic, sometimes they'll call you to remind you and you can tell them you don't want it anymore.

How is the suction of this?
I have the DeWalt 20V version (DCV581H) and it's probably the worst DeWalt tool I own. My Ridgid handheld does a better job.
Just looked up the CFM on this
Milwaukee 2gal : 45 cfm
DeWalt 2gal: 33.5 cfm
No wonder my DeWalt sux or don't suck in my case.

I have this and the Fuel Packout. The suction seems about the same but the Fuel is WAY quieter.

was just trying to decide this and the quietness, easy access to the hose makes it worth the extra and wait.

Wow, how is it that bad? The M12 1.6 fuel is essentially identical to the M18. The dewalt is really terrible then.

I have this one and am planning to replace it eventually with the Fuel Packout simply because the hose is on the outside with the Fuel. Having to open and close the top to reach the hose is a PITA with this unit.

That said, this little guy is awesome. More often than not, I'm grabbing this vacuum instead of my giant Ridgid vac unless it's a major cleanup. It's also a nice flat surface for tools or materials when you're working.

And, yes, it's loud but not louder than a regular shop vac. The tone is higher though, so it is a bit more annoying.

I have the same problem. No matter if I return online, at same store, different store, they say only way to return is if I return both. They will not allow me to return one item of the two. Seems to me HD is on to the hacks and their systems now reject one item returns regardless of where or how you do it? Suggestons?

I split the order for pickup at 2 different stores. Once order is placed, cancel the item you don't want in the app. Been doing it this way for a couple of years.
