The short version, is that it represents the maximum graphics power for the GPU (the graphics card). Last year, Nitro 5 models (12th Gen Intel) had a MGP of 140W for the same GPU (4060). This year the Nitro V (notice the V instead of the 5) models have an MGP of 75W.
This is NOT as bad as it may seem (though it's not good either). The thing is, 4050, 4060 and 4070 laptops GPUs were actually maxing out at around 105W anyway (voltage limit). The video from JT said it was approximately a 10% difference in FPS between the two MGP ratings. But still, 75W is going to have lower performance. Plus you need to be maxing out the performance of that laptop to hit those numbers. That makes the laptop louder as the fans have to be cranked up to cool the GPU when it's maxing out. Want it quieter? You need to lower the performance. It's not that this isn't true of other laptops. They ALL have this trade-off. But the lower your top level, the lower your performance. It's just a fact.
I will say that I'm a big fan of Acer laptops. They're typically a good value. This model has a 100% sRGB screen, which is better than previous models that were 45% NTSC, and it has 32GB of DDR RAM. I've owned an Acer Nitro 5 3050 ti model and I currently own an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 with a 4050. Both were good laptops. They do get loud, but that's common to most gaming laptops. You want more performance, get some noise cancelling headphones! :-)

I've used a laptop as a desktop replacement for gaming for over a decade now. They are excellent, if you got the cash.
This needs a 4060ti or 4070 for this price though. There has been an ASUS for $750 with a 4060ti.
Rare deals are worth waiting for. This isn't terrible. You could wait to squeeze another $50 of value out of it.
