About the only material difference anyone could notice out of the box is the wireless charging functionality (MagSafe on the 15 vs. NOT MagSafe on the 16e). Of course, for 16e buyers this can functionally be fixed for most applications with an appropriate case selection. However, the (somewhat) unknown risks with the 16e are around residual valuation (what can you trade it for later?) and software support/software limiting by Apple (what features will be kept off the 16e?). Both of these recommend the iPhone 15.
Good luck!

Battery efficiency might be better, that's why they claim so much better battery for 16e versus the others, but if the modem is any good we shall see. It's a risk for sure I would say.
