$6.36 on Amazon at the moment. $4.85 is the lowest price and worth it if you've been waiting on the lowest price, but it's also not a terribly expensive piece to begin with. So no need for FOMO if you're not in a spot where you actually need it.

Well with those wimpy short screws I'm surprised it even holds that much weight. Get yourself some screws which are the same diameter but LONGER. You will need to drill a pilot hole into the stud inside the wall. This is very simple to do with even the cheapest corded power drill. If you are renting and have white walls you can fill in these holes later with a little spackling paste or even white toothpaste so you don't get fined for leaving holes behind.

It's just a lifehack for people who are too busy to go out and buy spackling paste. For small holes it works just fine. Rentals usually get a repaint so as long as the holes are filled they USUALLY don't fine you for damage to the walls IF the holes are already filled in.

Unless they start sniffing your minty holes.

If you use Spax or GRK brand screws, you don't even need to drill a pilot hole.
