Bass: Without a subwoofer, low-end sound is weak. If you love bass-heavy movies or music, you'll feel the absence of rumble. There's a bass adjustment, but it's limited by the hardware.
Immersiveness: As a 2.0 system, it downmixes 5.1 Dolby Digital into stereo, so it won't deliver surround sound. It's not competing with Atmos bars or setups with separate speakers.
Connectivity: No HDMI ARC means you're stuck with optical or analog inputs, which limits control options (e.g., no TV remote volume sync via CEC). Bluetooth is handy, but it's basic (version 4.0, no high-quality codecs specified).
Value: Some argue that for a similar price, competitors like the Vizio V-Series 2.0 or Yamaha SR-C20A offer more features or better bass, though they may lack Bose's brand polish

That being said, this is a decent soundbar for the price. Make sure your TV has an ARC or eARC HDMI port for best performance.

If you use optical, you would not be able to use the TV remote for volume control!
Only inputs are 3.5, optical digital/toslink, coax digital. My PC monitor only has 3.5 but I guess that's ok. TVs will vary, but most have a 3.5 headphone or optical output. No HDMI ARC on this.
Honestly for a hundy I'd probably lean towards this Sony one which has HDMI ARC, but it lacks 3.5 audio

Have been using it for over a year
I use it with the HDMI connection that lets me control sound with TV remote
As mentioned previously, the worst of it is the inability to use a single remote for power & volume.
