What's interesting about red pocket is that they may not charge tax on the phone, and may ship unlocked phones, ymmv.

I have purchased redpocket phones for several years for the entire family and never ever received unlocked phones. Can confirm it's a "less than zero" case what so ever

I just purchased this and it came sim locked to carrier 🥴 spent 30 min on chat only for them to say we submitted unlock request please wait 24 to 48 hours lol I already wanna return just because of this

Same thing happened to me. Hopefully it will unlock soon. Also, read the fine print on the rebate terms. I think we must actually pay for 4 months. The first month that you pay for when you buy the phone and 3 months on autopay.
