As for the tribes like I said it took me a few months of doing in home demos to narrow it down. If you have any suggestions on what to buy around that range I'm all ears..always looking to upgrade.
When I get 5 Klipsch alerts a day, day after day, and it's always the same speakers going "on sale" it's annoying.
Slickdeals should implement an exclude keyword in deal alerts
id be interested to know what your theater setup looks like
Why does that mean I don't know anything about speakers?
You never said what you paid for the Totems but here is an example.

On a budget there are these.

More slimy marketing with the alerts comment I see!
5.2.4 All Monitor Audio GS, in ceiling included in that quality.
In a dedicated room that is fairly treated.
None of this means I can tell people what they should like/prefer imo.
ironically if you are in every Klipsch thread and recognize me then do you have too much time on your hand as well?

You've got a really decent set of HT speakers in the RTi 12's. If they're still in good shape, ie, the tweeters are still good, you're not 'unhappy' with the sound, etc.
It's going to be really hard to apples-to-apples this Klipsch set vs. your existing stuff.
They're going to sound different, for sure, but better is a hard one because it depends on
what you want, or what you don't like about your current speakers vs. what these Klipsch might bring to the table.
Klipsch are famously (maybe infamously) bright sounding.
Some people love that sound, and some people report listening fatigue after extended higher volume sessions.
A whole movie, your favorite album start to finish, whatever fits the bill.
There's a ton of 'it depends" factors.
Depending on your current AVR, how many speakers you're running from it, what you listen to, and for how loud, how long, all that.
Anecdotally,
I have Monitor 70 series 1's from Polk, and I eyeball these deals every time they come through.
Your speakers are objectively better than mine, and I wouldn't jump on this deal.
I went on ebay a few years back, bought a couple of used Class A (or AB) power amps, and that
made a pronounced difference in how my system sounded. I freed up the AVR to run just the surrounds and Atmos ceiling speakers.
The Front stage has two dedicated amps running just the Left/Center/Right speakers.
You might entertain a similar line of thinking. Depending on how much power you're already giving your RTi's,
you might shop around to see about juicing them up with a couple hundred watts a piece on the front stage,
and be very surprised at how they come to life, even after 15 years.
Food for thought, but I wouldn't buy these Klipsch ears unheard. I'd want to do an in-home demo
for a weekend to see what I thought versus what I currently have.
Also anecdotally, I picked up the Klipsch Flexus 210 Soundbar/sub combo for the TV in the master bedroom,
and that thing is a monster. It's ridiculous.
Anything past 15 will almost blow you out of the room depending on what you're watching.
Recommend the 1400!!

I prefer soft domes over horns. But those Polks lacked clarity and sparkle.
