When you "harvest", do you lose the phone number of one of the phones? I want to combine but I also want to keep the. Numbers.

If you have an existing line, when you "harvest" to extend your service using the DIY method, you don't lose the phone number because you don't get a new one.
If you are a new TF user, you can get a new number for the 1st phone. When you DIY to transfer/combine the service, 1st phone's number and service will be on/added to the 2nd phone (you don't get a new number for the 2nd). You can activate the 2nd with a new phone number (maybe for rewards purpose), but you'll need to chat with TF to combine the balance, and the donor phone will become inactive.

can you just keep going? like if you have 6 lines can they be combined into one for 6 years of service?

If someone is anticipating keeping the phone to use elsewhere: the 2023 phone -might- have an advantage. The 2023 is whitelisted for AT&T, unlike a lot of recent Tracfone models. I don't have a 2024 version to test the IMEI.
are you saying even unlocked you cant use it elsewhere on ATT?

what happens after the 1.5GB of data is used? does it cut you off completely?
You buy more data or texts or minutes or service time - whatever you need - that's how TF works.
