The people that need these types of tools love them. But for the rest of us they have limited use so if you are thinking buying it now at a good price in the hopes you'll use it in the near future you might want to reconsider. jus sayin

Good deal tho.
Agreed. I work in low voltage and use it to cut conduit, all thread, unistrut and pipes. Aside from that I think a miter, skill, jig saw or multi tool can cut anything else better.

I use mine for cutting 2" and smaller PVC pipe, conduit pipe, and rebar mostly. It also worked great for cutting aluminum service wire, battery cable, and welding lead. I have used if when buying steel at the steel yard. They charge $5 to cut down 20' pieces of metal. That's ok, I will cut it myself.
I have found this to be a useful tool. It cut 1.5" solid steel bar very nicely. I wish it was bigger.

I've been considering one to mount on a Swag or Harbor Frieght Table mount for these. So if your primary use is not cutting pipe, conduit etc. The tables adds even more functionality.
I was able to get one, not a big deal but like mentioned in reviews the band was installed with teeth going in the wrong direction, fix is to take it out, carefully turn it "inside out" to get the direction correct, and reinstall. Nice saw and should make PVC cutting easier.

Yup deal on a 3" or 3.5" would be nice. Perfect for cutting stainless exhaust tubes
