Note about the Allstate/SquareTrade warranty since I had to go through the process with my current tv. After the first two year warranty coverage through manufacturer and Costco, Allstate takes over. I noticed some dead pixels on year 4 of my warranty and had to submit a claim. I was approved for a replacement tv but they offered two TVs that were significantly lower quality than what I purchased. The claim service was all through chat and I could not speak to a live agent on the phone. I called Costco warranty/tech service department and they were incredibly helpful. They spoke to an agent and got Allstate to provide the current version of my tv as well as another competitive option to choose from.

Also note that once you receive your replacement tv, the new tv is not covered under the remainder of the warranty. Costco actually advised that in the future I begin the warranty process with them instead of Allstate so they have all the case notes. Exceptional Costco service experience.

They have a phone number and phone agents. I just went through the process on an LG CX and they offered a C4 as replacement. I declined it and requested money back and they sent a $1200 check.

My friend has the 85" Bravia 7, and I have a 65" S90C (QD-OLED). I don't see a viewing angle issue on his TV like the reviews say. It may be worse than my OLED viewing angle as far as getting slightly dim. But I think you'd have to be really picky to even notice it. Just my opinion. I think the reviews are hyper critical and may not apply to most people. I would be happy with either QD-OLED as I have, or a Bravia 7. His is brighter but I do think the colors are richer and the QD-OLEDs essentially have perfect image quality.
And on the flip side while I think viewing angles are blown out of proportion, I don't see a brightness issue with my OLED. The same windows that would blow out my old plasma's image from sunlight, does not do the same to my S90C.
You can't really go wrong with any midrange TV, buy based on price and this price is as good as it gets on a 65" Bravia 7. I'd buy it if I didn't have my TV because $1200 is as low as it's probably going to go unless you're even more of a successful vulture than me.

I have the x93l from Walmart for $1000, if I had a choice I'd get the Bravia 7 instead. X93l is still on android 10 and doesn't support the Bravia connect app. Viewing angle thing is basically negligible.

I'm not sure how bright exactly people's rooms are, but my LG C1 OLED is plenty bright for a room that gets afternoon sun.

I'm sure this TV is great.

I'm just not seeing a scenario in which I'd pay $1200 for a 65" HDTV that wasn't OLED.

I just went to Costco to look at this real time. First, it's bright, one of the brightest there, and in a good way, still plenty of detail and colors don't look too washed as a result. It sat next to the $2k Sony OLED and I much preferred this one. The way my wife has the living room set though, the main watching chair has a large angle, like 30-40%, this tv is not good for that large of an angle. It was better than LEDs but still had issues. My main problem is that the LG Oled still exists and it's breathtaking over this one. It could be because it's got a crazy 8k vid playing but I own a c1 at home and it still blows me away. You could be 89degrees to the damn thing and it still looks as awesome. Don't know how well it'd do in the crazy bright upstairs living room. In the end the unideal viewing angle the wifey had setup in "her" living room killed it for me so I passed.

I have this TV. It's a great TV, especially at this price. The viewing angles and reflection callouts are way overblown IMO. I don't find any issues with either. I followed Rting's configuration recommendations and the picture is great. The only issue I have is that occassionally, when watching sports I will get some motion blurring. Still playing w/the settings.

HDR will be almost useless on the Bravia 3. The contrast ratio is smaller than needed. Can you find an X90L at the same price? Those are great TVs.

I've owned this exact TV for several months and it's amazing. However, I do wish the colors didn't wash out when viewed from the side. Before this, I owned a high end plasma and could watch it at any angle without the picture degrading. It took some time to adjust to that. It's not that you can't still watch TV, but when viewed from the side you'll notice blooming around bright objects on dark backgrounds. When viewed straight on, blooming is never an issue. Sony's processing is superior, so it's a non-issue for me. I paid $200 more than this deal, so $1200 for this is a steal. I can't think of anything I'd rather have at this point. I've been through the stress of owning a TV that you have to worry about getting burn-in, so OLED was never an option for me. You're not going to get a better picture (from a mini LED), unless you step up to a Bravia 9 for nearly $3000. Even then, the improvements are marginal. Most people wouldn't notice.
