yep, new code for the same price - week after week...

But, Rep's to the OP for bringing us the latest pricing as many of us are in a holding pattern (again, I'm holding because I'll be stroking a check by April 15th...so filing as quick as possible does not benefit me.

I'm not sure if this has been posted here on SD...(probably has already) .but Turbo Tax is offering their Mobile App for Free (IF YOU DID NOT USE TURBO TAX Last YEAR).
Quote :
free tax filing ($0 Federal, $0 State) for ALL tax situations (not just 1040EZ form users). This includes their TurboTax Standard, Deluxe, and Premium products.
Also, you MUST file by Feb 28th...

Just another option for some...who may want to venture into the TurboTax world...

What was the lowest price last year, and what was the date?

Around 1/15/24, I believe the price was $34.99 - $20 gift card (at various retailers like Home Depot for example) so $14.99 if you had a use for the gift card. Around 2/6/24 (and then again later in Feb and also in March) the price was $39.99 - $22 promo = $17.99.

If this doesn't lower within 2 weeks, I'm going to learn and use FreeTaxUsa. It's cheaper overall with state efile included in its low price. With the IRS getting slashed, e-file is probably the safer route.

Hopefully H&R block is reading these posts, thinking they can "hodl" on their end Smilie
