From low end to high end:
Select > Classic > Premier > Signature/Elite
For those who care about manufacturing origin:
Only the Elite and individual Signature pieces (not sets) are domestic manufactured in the US.
The 2 ply Classic/Select does have a tendency to warp if you habitually use the highest temperatures to heat up.
The 3 ply Signature / Premier / Elite handles higher heat much better.
When we started out a decade ago with the Classic, it held up OK to our abusive tendencies. Its a good starter kit, but if you spend any time in the kitchen, I would recommend spending the extra for the 3 ply sets.

I just cooked on one of my Calaphone pans from a Costco set. I alway forget it isn't flat anymore. The eggs all drift to one side. I never imagined a fry pan could warp.
Thanks for the product lesson.

When that happens to my pans, I lay them face down on a flat surface, lay a short piece of 2x4 on the back, and spank it with a hammer a couple times. MAKE sure the handle is laying over an edge of some sort so you don't break it off. No I'm not joking, I do this to my $2 pans as needed.
