No. These are the best in-ear ANC earphones, bar none, and I've tried them all, including more over-the-ear headphones, too, than I care to admit. I prefer to use these on planes than any over-the-ear headphones or in-ear models. They're just amazing.
I have the APP 2nd gen, and they're... alright. They have that seamless connectivity thing and that's great, but when it comes to ANC? No comparison.
I've had since release. I quite like them. I've had Airpod, Airprod 2, and Airpod 2 Pros. All of them fell out of my ears sitting in bed. These are amazing for staying in my ears and going on runs with out having to put on inserts etc.
Good audio quality, good gestures for changing modes to disable/enable ANC. Very happy with them.

Sounds like you haven't tried the Technics AZ100. I found these to be waaaaaay better overall than the Bose. Sound quality is the best I've ever heard for in-ear buds, thanks to their magnetic drivers. Bluetooth is rock solid, noise cancellation and especially the transparency mode are top notch with a slight edge to Bose in Noise Cancellation and comfort. The transparency mode beats the Bose handily and is on par with my AirPod Pros 2.

Would you please describe your take on the difference in ANC quality between the Bose and Technics? I'm on the fence but leaning towards the Technics. I really appreciate your time.

Better than Samsung Buds 3 Pro but the touch button function is a bit too sensitive and Samsung has much better touch controls. I have both.

Unpopular Opinion: You guys are nuckin futs spending this much money on earbuds.

If you sit on planes often and don't want to hear your surroundings, it's worth it.

The $50 gift card is for "Bose Ultra Open Ultra Earbuds" but the item is "Bose QuietComfort Ultra" (no 'open', different open model?)
edit: appears they have a $50 gift card for this version too but it's a different page than a link in deal description.

No. You need over the ear headphones for gaming to get a good soundstage. I.e. you want to be able to tell that gunfire is coming from your front left and there are footsteps to your immediate right. Earbuds can't do it, the sound just sounds like it's in your head for lack of better words.

Look at something like the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 which run like $130 (half of what these Bose earbuds are) which will work way better for gaming.

Why? Takes up more space in my bag and makes a mess of my hair when I need to go to work. These are equal or better than over the ear.

Yea these are great. Just bought them last Thursday and changed out the fittings. If your gym tends to blast annoying loud music or you're around people who like to drop their weights, the ANC feature is a Godsend. Literally will save your ears. Huge difference in how quiet it gets.
