The only one by me is at an outlet in "good" condition. The outlets are so hit or miss. They don't allow you to inspect and there are no returns. You could open the box and find a shattered screen and they say tough luck. Could be missing the stand, remote, power cord etc and they don't tell you.
I've had the opposite experience at the outlet near me. 10+ orders, including TVs and they've all been returnable. They've allowed me to inspect them and they've even offered to plug in the TVs I've purchased to make sure they work before I left.

The one in Dallas won't even let you check if there is a scratch on the screen or see if the remote or stand is in there. They say if it's not the best buy next door can order the part if they don't have it for sale. So if someone is not in good or excellent condition, it's a huge gamble.

100 hours? That's like nothing. As long as there are no dead pixels and no flickering then it should be just fine. Well it's still a bargain yet you are about to resell one for 1k lol.

Be sure to check all the ports and see if they work as well.

Last time I bought one from their outlet store they opened it let me inspect it before I took it home.

So OLED for sure does not have the longevity a basic LED or even QLED/QNED does?

Good deal and remember that Best Buy open box has full manufacturer warranty and also their protection plans cover burn in.
Depending on the brand this isn't necessarily true. Warranty wise. A lot of brands starts from ship date to bestbuy on open box. Gigabyte Samsung Asus Google and some the warranty starts on activation date for the first buyer. Just a FYI. But via bestbuy open box everything should get a 1yr in the fine print but it would be best buy taking care of it first not the manufacturer. I buy a ton of open box computers laptops and phones and I have ran into this issue constantly Smilie

I advertised as new, cause they essentially look new and one could consider it open box new.
Sure, one could consider an item that's been used for 100 hours as "new" and omit those details in the description, but that's deception.

Amazon, for example, sells open box items as "used", while best buy, as you know, didn't pretend they were new and charge you full price.

All three were fair condition. All have under 100 hours on them. I don't see any issues or scuff. I did just sell one just now on Facebook marketplace for 1000. I advertised as new, cause they essentially look new and one could consider it open box new.
LOL, you said "I have a need" but are just a scalper/reseller. Dishonest one at that.

Misleading. Some items will have a warranty, some will not. Open box means many things, including used for an extended period of time then traded in.
