I just happened to be checking SW last night to help my son book some flights during this time - flights were cheaper without this promo than they are now.

I think the disaster storm from a few winter storms ago (2023?) made them liable to payout huge sums of money. Now we have to suffer for the long run.

Southwest lost my baggage on two different flights last year. Eventually they found it but was a major inconvenience. Their employees don't seem to care anymore about customer service. Their fares have gone way up.

I booked a flight last week. I checked the exact same flights and with this promo fare, the price went up by $20! Some sale.
