Just like last time this was posted, and now it looks like the SD algorithms are picking it up, 36 ah for $360 is a great deal. These are as heavy as I like to go on normal handheld (under sawzall size) M18 tools BTW.

The 8.0 HO batteries are known for having problems, fwiw. It uses the same form factor (21700) battery cells as the 6.0 HO, but with different cells rated for slightly higher capacity.

Yep, the 8.0 and 12.0 were/are the worst of the M18 line for reliability.

This is odd, I never had any problems with 6s, 8s or 12s. All of my 9s failed much quicker than expected though.

Worth it or wait and invest in Forge stuff? I only have a couple M18 tools current (inflator and small packout vac)
