Remember, the 1500 Min/Text/1500MB Data isn't per month, it's per year. That's just slightly over 4 mins/texts/mb of data per day.

The "per year" actually works in my favor. I get these as spare phones for when my kid goes to a sleepover, or a guest from a different country finds their phone doesn't work here, etc.
It's just nice to have a handset in a desk drawer, charged and ready to lend out for a while. And when service expires I unlock the phone and it serves as a backup of any if our regular phones breaks, so I don't need to rush for a replacement.

I originally tried to do a similar deal for this in January from QVC. The experience can be a nightmare for new customers/accounts. I made my account and did my order and the following day they cancelled my order and deleted my account. They then proceeded to string me along with promises of 2-4-5 business days that it would eventually be resolved. They promised that my account would be reinstated and they would honor my previous order with the same pricing/codes used. This went on for over 3 weeks. They claimed it was something the financial team flagged but my credit union told me the charge went fine and they kept stating there was no direct way for me to communicate with said financial team or for them to either besides leaving notes on my problem. Then finally near the end of the 3rd week they started ghosting my number aka it either held me on the line for hours without ever getting an answer or would say nobody was available to be spoken to even at their normal work hours for them. I then tried contacting them through the online chat afterwards and the representative at the time just straight up told me, no we will not reinstate your account or your order and more or less shut me down. I asked if I should make an account and just retry ordering and they passive aggressively told me yeah, you can but you don't have to. Maybe I just got unlucky but holy it was a nightmare dealing with customer support that either can't or won't help you.
TLDR I got hella unlucky when it seems like a lot of people deal with QVC just fine but I'm just still a bit salty about it since it just happened last month.😂

OK, I'll play that game too. I have both phones. I took the total RAM and subtracted the average use of the Android OS on both. Here is what I get:

2024 model is 3.8GB - 1.2 GB = 2.6 GB
2023 model is 2.9GB - .73 GB = 2.17 GB

Again 2.6GB vs 2.17 GB is not double. School is good!

Or did he (and you) mean something other than that?

Can I use this plan to activate phone in USA and then access only the phone number from overseas for one time code or text message? Basically, the phone can be left in USA but I can use the number through online portl or App?
