I think they overdid that $5 footlong jingle.
I still think of it seeing their name.
Who wrote that anyway…?

Not quite regular prices = BOGO. Some footlongs are as low as $9 (varies by area), so, in that case, the 2nd sandwich (if it's the same, hypothetically) is costing you an additional $4. Not bad, but not BOGO.

The problem with inconsistencies is related to the fact that they're all franchises. That can be problematic with the ones who don't give a crap about their customers. It's also related to how many Subways exist in your particular area. If there are very few, that can spell trouble. If you're in an area (such as mine) with many locations, they try a lot harder to keep their customers satisfied.

Another thing, if you want your sandwich made right (or are assertive enough to ask for larger quantities of the toppings), place your order at the restaurant and follow up with it. Placing the order in advance frequently results in disappointment, as they take advantage and slack off. They can't play games if your standing there in front of them. This has been my (consistent) experience.

Did Subway quietly discontinue their capicola sometime in the last couple of months or is it just out of stock at all the stores near me?

The real issue with these coupons is that then you would have to go to Subway to use them.

It is mind blowing that Subway has more US locations than any other fast food chain. I assume that has to do with setting up shop in a ton of Walmarts and other grocery stories but it seems locally those have all been pulled.
Not really. Actually the real issue is that far too many Subway locations don't accept the coupons. And btw, if the location is cooperative, you can place an order online using the promo code and you don't need to use the paper coupon.
If you're referring to getting sandwiches delivered, then that's another story. I've never done that with Subway. I suspect that you can't use the promo codes unless you're picking up your order.

They use it on their "Italian" sandwiches (supposedly). I've never had them, so I don't know if they still use capicola.
They have been known to discontinue certain items. My biggest disappointment was the sweet peppers. They discontinued those quite some time ago.

Yep. Subway franchises have been pulling that crap for 20 yrs. Especially the one that was near me. They would fight you on every coupon, even ones that were sent out in mailers specifically for THAT STORE.

If you were successful in getting them to take it, then they would retaliate on skimping out on giving you the least amount of ingredients as they can.

Petty business practices, garbage quality food, I'm surprised they are even still around at all. There are better options for the same money.

All the subways around me stopped accepting coupons. Which means I no longer eat there since the sub I like is $13.59 + tax.

last time I did BOGO with Teriyaki Blitz, I got two pale grey color juiced foot long subs with almost no meat. the content weren't even close to the red/brown color. one regular priced Teriyaki Blitz at another time had more meat than the sum on the BOGO Teriyaki Blitz pair, though still a lot less than the picture in the store and on subway.com

overall, BOGO may not be worth it as the stores seem to be cutting so much with it

yet to figure out the right coupon to price subway sub correctly when the stores are cutting corners even on the regular priced sub
Deserve negative feedback to that store.Wink

I thought the amount of meat is pre-packaged in refrigenator.

I've seen reports of online orders using promo codes and then when people go to pick up their orders it's just not made bc they refused to make the order because of the coupon. I haven't tried it myself since I just chalk up the extra cash for local sandwich shops and Jersey Mike's bc they treat customers with respect at the very least.

I'll say this. We have 1 subway near work (less than a mile) and another that's in the next town located in a Walmart like 20 minutes away. The near one never accepted coupons but the Walmart location did so if I were there running errands I'd usually grab Subway as I'd usually get a sandwich for myself and a boring one for the kids' lunches since all they eat is literally ham and cheese. So BOGO made the cheap sub free at least.

A few weeks ago I decided to try the near location for a coupon and to my surprise the order went through. I also used $8 of credit ("points") to make the total order for 2 subs like $4-5 or something. The order places fine then like 5 minutes later I get a call from an unknown local number on my cell. It's the subway owner (I know he's the owner since he's always there) and he says that "your order was cancelled and I don't know why". Hmm. I got an email around the same time saying that I (me) had requested the order cancellation. He then suggested that I place the order again and not use the coupon as "you can't use a coupon and points on the same order". Strange because the app let me, and the app lets me do it at the Walmart location and I've never had an issue.

So yeah, he saw the order had a coupon, cancelled the order, and called to lie to me about it. I realize that Subway treats their franchisees like shit, and the last I heard the individual owners had to eat coupons, they aren't reimbursed from corporate, but points are reimbursed. So, I understand if an individual owner doesn't want to accept coupons, that's fine, but don't accept them and give me some BS story about how I can't order and use both. That's nonsense.

Anyway, I'm never ordering from that location again.

[and btw, when I did get the sub, although I request "extra" or "more" of all the veggies (which aren't any more $$), I didn't get any. Screw him]

Thanks!....but I addressed that post to the OP, since they stated "example coupons" (why not list all of them)?....but since you have them, perhaps you could create your own post with the info. from the remaining coupons. I'm in the NY area, and I didn't receive them....and there are 3 Subway franchises all within a 2-3 mile radius.
It is not so much the coupons as the codes. The OP would just need to list the codes on the coupons.

Gotta love the "Eligible Locations" disclaimer. The mailers always find me!...but I just can't find that "eligible' location...

Yup this is the exact scenario I'm concerned with. Franchisee owners are so arrogant they'd rather not make a sale than respect their customers.

Sorry about that. I was too vague. I meant that the problem is that you have to go to Subway. Period. I don't know the last time I ate at one by choice.

I was referring to the codes. Even if a location happens to accept the coupons, they'll only accept the originals.
