RE: the head unscrewing off in my pocket: I've had half a dozen that get rotated to my pants pocket for backup EDC use and none of them have come lose, let alone fell apart. Maybe that person is going way too far beyond the OFF spot. If anything, a couple of mine (the rechargeable version, mind you), have very tight o-rings and are tough to rotate, the opposite of easily falling apart. These are also ones without any knurling or anything (smooth metal), so there's that too.

Grab these for the freebie but the i3t is an amazing little light under the same principle of using the 10440 and it has two power settings and a power switch logic that really blows the other cheap lights, and streamlights out of the water. I haven't gotten into too many of the others. i did buy some of the i1R 2 Pro's for my parents for backpacking and for car work but same deal with the twist, made me realize I prefer the buttons.
To the guys asking about olight, they are definitely a step above wurkkos/etc. I'm not a flashlight nerd but have bought a few and the buttons are better and they are just designed nicer, like a human used them before they went to market (very small nuances in how they fit in your hands). They are also being pretty innovative with the magnetic chargers and more built in usb-c charging and just they have much more creative silly ideas they are trying out with various designs. I wouldn't pay streamlight prices for them but that's simply because they are still running sales for marketshare which undermines the premium product strat. I have a number of streamlights and honestly I think in most areas olight is doing better with the exception being professional users. I haven't beat up on olights and don't plan to so I can't speak to their durability but i've seen enough streamlight stingers with so much use there is more raw material than anodizing on them, i would say that reputation is rightfully relied upon.
