Awesome deal, Im still running my Alienware Aurora R7 with liquid cooling from like 2018. Upgraded from a GTX1080 to a RTX3070. Not a single issue with this PC. I run it for about 8+ hours a day and often max out the CPU and GPU from gaming yet ive never had an issue with overheating even when my office was 90+ degrees

Does the dell 5080 use reference PCB design?

the mobo is proprietary and oddly shaped, so not likely to slap on a different case. I think memory and ssd updates are common.

Not much discussion on this deal about the Ultra 7 265F. I do photo editing, no video, no gaming, very little AI. I'm looking at the RTX4060 and 32 gig ram option for $1550. Is the 265F really bad? My last 2 were XPS's, but they are all out of stock for some reason. (Photoshop 2025 and LR Classic)

The 265f is a beast for productivity, it's basically the same as the 265k

Getting 100-200fps on all games maxout with my 4090. So no. Its not needed for 4k.
Yeah. I have a 4090. This is simply not true. You'd be lucky to get over 60 on AAA games with setting maxed.

Thanks. Everything seems geared toward gaming these days so hard to get info on productivity. I wish the XPS's were in stock. And these are month out for delivery Frown

I bought the max trim of this with the Core Ultra 9 285K processor and 5080 GPU. Upon additional reading on the "Features" tab it says it has 2x NVMe M.2 slots up to 8TB total. Surely this has to be a mistake no? It can't take more than 4TB SSD in each slot? And right above that it says it can take up to 64GB of DDR5 XMP RAM. Is that limitation specific to just XMP, or also a mistake?

Interesting. Did you get an email about that? I just checked and mine says 'pending'.

No. I checked the website and it said "pending" but the amount was changed to 0. Messaged their customer support and they came back saying Dell says it's not eligible for cb.

I have a similar build with more ram and a better SSD and it runs great for me after upgrading from a 3070 it was a great change. But I hear if you are on a 4000 series you are good where you are at.

Amex premium Business Cash Card has 13% off. If somebody can combine with 10% off, this is killer deal.
Any other AMEX or just premium?

Torching this with my Ultra 7 265K and my 4070 Ti Super overclocked like a banshee nearly 38000 3D passmark. Bring it!
