Awesome deal, Im still running my Alienware Aurora R7 with liquid cooling from like 2018. Upgraded from a GTX1080 to a RTX3070. Not a single issue with this PC. I run it for about 8+ hours a day and often max out the CPU and GPU from gaming yet ive never had an issue with overheating even when my office was 90+ degrees

I have a similar build with more ram and a better SSD and it runs great for me after upgrading from a 3070 it was a great change. But I hear if you are on a 4000 series you are good where you are at.
Can the thermals of this thing handle the i9 (with liquid cooling) and 4090 for long sustained workloads? (Talking weeks)

A few months ago I bought the 4080 Alienware desktop. Built my own for over a decade. Just wanted something that was ready to go this time. All the pre-built haters need to get a reality check - it crushes.

Low temps, whisper quiet, plays anything I want, doesn't look like a unicorn threw up on my PC. Absolutely love it.

Why is this a "deal" let alone made it to the front page?
In games, the Core Ultra 7 265K/KF only matches the Ryzen 5 9600X (and the Core Ultra 7 265/F would be even slower).

I priced a similar PC minus the video card on PCPartPicker for under $900 (including Windows). That makes the GeForce RTX 5080 just over $1400.
Are you desperate enough to pay >$1400 for a GeForce RTX 5080?

Apparently you're unaware of the 4k gaming market.
Before I got my 4090 I was gaming in 4k with a 4070 Super. Visually, it's a marginal, almost unnoticeable difference between high & ultra graphics settings in modern games. Even more so now with the enhanced DLSS frame gen & upscaling.

The 10% dell discount coupon + 12% C B made it slicker. Agree it's not great without those discounts.

Yeah prebuilts have come a long way. PC manufacturers learned they can no longer get away with using trash parts with online forums and reviews becoming so mainstream, and that's why we have better prebuilts now IMO

Only a deal if you can make 10% +13% AMEX+ 12% CB + Dell CB (around $123). Add all together, the PC only cost $1400 (including 5080). Give me another deal to buy 5080 for similar price, please.

How easy is it to return when you find out the 5080 is missing some ROPS?

So I ended up picking up two of them got it down to $1817 out the door no sales tax obviously be sales tax exempt picked up two of them. It's a decent deal probably just gonna use them as a servers and sell the rtx5080 out of them I picked up a founders edition RTX 5090 already and the 1000 W power supply should be able to handle that on one of them. The other one after selling the graphics card I'll probably end up with about $300 in it and just use it as a back up server.

I'm still on a 2060 Super because the only sane upgrade path from it is a used 2080ti. Good luck finding a 5080 for $1,400 right now.

Are you a five-year-old and need instant gratification?

The product just came out. The prices will come down when availability increases.
