Awesome deal, Im still running my Alienware Aurora R7 with liquid cooling from like 2018. Upgraded from a GTX1080 to a RTX3070. Not a single issue with this PC. I run it for about 8+ hours a day and often max out the CPU and GPU from gaming yet ive never had an issue with overheating even when my office was 90+ degrees

thats wild right, easy fix though, just add more, can choose 32gb, or 64 right on the order page.

Mine is on the way.

I expect to be doing this on Monday or Tuesday, and will report back.

Update:
FYI, the Crucial memory I purchased from Amazon.com is working fine in this standard R16 build from this deal. Bios says it is running dual channel at 5600 MHz. That is what I expected.

[[The two 8gb sticks that were preinstalled were Samsung 5600 sticks.]]

I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic (MdSched.exe) on this Crucial memory, and no errors reported with the newly installed DDR5 ram.

[[P.S. 32GB was $83 on Amazon--cheaper than Dell's option, and an easy swap]]]

I will let this run for a few days to see if everything is working well...then, next....a heat sink swap out.

IMO, its not worth too much effort or money on tweaking memory clocks with this config with 14/15th gen intel CPUs.
I agree with you. This processor is not an overclocker, apparently. That's fine with me. I was just asking about this DDR5 because of my concern whether the RAM that was shipped and 'on the way' to me already was going to be compatible (even at 5600 MHz). The Crucial compatibility tool doesnt list this desktop model yet. The Crucial 'scan' tool didnt recognize the R16 for me.

Dropped a $35 Peerless Assassin 120 SE in there today. Load CPU temp was lowered by 40c from the stock air cooler and it's more quiet too. Used to get to 100c quickly during Cinebench runs and throttle but now never went above 60c. Somehow it also helped with the GPU and I got a higher Steel Nomad score of 9355 with overclock. Highly recommended for anyone with a stock air cooler. I read somewhere on Reddit that you need to purchase separate screws to fit Aurora R16, but in my case everything needed came in the retail box. I am also including a picture for anyone interested.
Are you able to put back on the side panel with the Peerless Assassin?

Yes. About 5mm clearance so anything below 160mm should fit such as a Phantom Spirit 120 although I didn't test it myself. PA120 SE has a 155mm height.

Why not spend another $100 for liquid cooling? The price seems very reasonable for all the hassle setting liquid cooling.

No, you don't. You don't even need to use the backplate since the screw holes are already there.
