This would've been great if they offered it 30 days ago. I have plenty of segments booked for March but I booked them in the last 30 to 60 days. These all have to be booked after you register. For business travelers, this is a good way to get extra loyalty points if you book flights shortly before departure.

most schools have spring break in March with lots of travel, also it is too close which makes it more expensive. Hard to say this is a good deal.

Agreed. I have Executive Platinum and this does nothing for me. They do this shit a lot and it's irritating. Give us a good heads up, and make it a real incentive, like 5K points. I'm not booking a trip with AA just because of this and I'm not gonna pick AA over another airline for 500 points if it costs even $5 more on AA.

I left them for United and never looked back they did me wrong by dropping my platinum after I booked $6k in travel because I thought based on my app saying travel by 2/28. They did it at 12/31. Will never forgive them for that after years of loyalty. United isn't much better but with all Airlines in the hole you don't have to be loyal anymore goodness knows they aren't.
