No direct deposit games - nice. Finally, a bank that doesn't care where the money comes from.
The risk here is that you have to keep $5k in for 60-90 days to get the 4.3%, but CIT can lower the rate in that timeframe. However, CIT has historically had good rates on this account for quite a while - not at the very top of what is available, but certainly within shooting distance of the top. I would expect them to remain competitive.

Found the whole life insurance salesperson.
I transferred the money 6 days back however it's still not showing in available balance. Other banks show up in 2 days usually.
So, if was posted today it gets available next day.

Yup, I scheduled a transfer today and it said available on 5/30
Similar is my case I was denied to open the account, but when tried again it says user id is alreayd taken, when tried to login it wants to do 2 factor authentication with a phone number that doesnt exist.

Just got off the phone with their customer care, they explained this is their way to lock the online login/pwd... they re-submitted my application for 2nd review, very funny though.. said should receive an email in a day or 2...
