See previous threads here on T-Mobile. They have become really consumer unfriendly in the last couple of years.
2) Phone cannot be cracked in the screen and no moisture/water damage. Also, cannot have destroyed pixels and dead spots. The back of the phone can have some wear & tear and cracks.
3) Best deal is to buy a Samsung S10 from eBay for your trade-in. This promotion will probably last another two weeks based on what they are saying from the subreddit.
4) You can get $100 Costco cashcard for being a Costco member. You can call or in-store. I've done both. I would probably call as it was quicker and just as simple. You also don't need to bring the phone with you. Just an IMEI. Just make sure the phone you are submitting qualifies or else you're going to be in a heap of trouble submitting the IMEI of a phone that might come cracked, etc.,
5) You can ship your trade-in phone or bring it in to a T-Mobile corporate store. Just tell them you have a phone to trade in... They will do basic checks and automatically approve your phone for trade-in on the spot. Saves you the hassle of UPS losing your trade-in phone during shipment.
Most of these questions have been asked... Just look at the old T-Mobile thread from two weeks ago.

thanks!
You can pay it off early and the bill credits will continue as long as you have service. And once paid off you can request unlock as long as the device has been active for 60 days.

I don't know if the rules have changed but I was able to pay off two phones early specifically to have them unlocked and was able to keep the bill credits. They were able to move the credits to the account level instead of at the individual line level.

I would not doubt that they are slow. Iphone after SE is garbage.
We were able to trade in 2 iPhone 13s, got $500 for each, plus waived activation fee and $200 worth of Costco shop cards. I did this by calling the T-Mobile Costco 833 number. Took 45 minutes.
He did try to sell me protection plans, cases, screen protectors, chargers, and Apple Watches but I politely declined everything and he was friendly through it.
This is the best deal for those of us with very old plans in a long time!

You just pay it off and it can be unlock but you lose any remaining credit.
This is interesting. Make sense, did you called them or talked to someone in store?
Mostly because I have a Samsung A71 5G and I was quite shocked that they were offering $250 trade-in value. Getting it for my mother, I don't think she needs a more complicated phone that costs more, like the regular iPhone 16.
Oh, and by the way, I did this in the T-Life app, and I have a T-mobile One 55+ Unlimited Plan. Everything went smoothly, nothing affected my existing phone plan.
Sometimes age has its privileges.! I know, on my T-Mobile plan. I have unlimited everything, and I burned through about a 150 go's a month, no throttline, no slime down. It's great.I love it.I run my whole house off my phone. There's a lot of wisdom that comes with age, too. Enjoy your new phone.
