See previous threads here on T-Mobile. They have become really consumer unfriendly in the last couple of years.
2) Phone cannot be cracked in the screen and no moisture/water damage. Also, cannot have destroyed pixels and dead spots. The back of the phone can have some wear & tear and cracks.
3) Best deal is to buy a Samsung S10 from eBay for your trade-in. This promotion will probably last another two weeks based on what they are saying from the subreddit.
4) You can get $100 Costco cashcard for being a Costco member. You can call or in-store. I've done both. I would probably call as it was quicker and just as simple. You also don't need to bring the phone with you. Just an IMEI. Just make sure the phone you are submitting qualifies or else you're going to be in a heap of trouble submitting the IMEI of a phone that might come cracked, etc.,
5) You can ship your trade-in phone or bring it in to a T-Mobile corporate store. Just tell them you have a phone to trade in... They will do basic checks and automatically approve your phone for trade-in on the spot. Saves you the hassle of UPS losing your trade-in phone during shipment.
Most of these questions have been asked... Just look at the old T-Mobile thread from two weeks ago.

All these phones qualified then as well, except it was advertised for go5G. I found out that older plans were eligible, just less credit ($500 vs $830) and posted that there.
I'm seeing that most don't fit the screen fully
Thank you for the input! Was able to call that 833 number and spent a long time having a conversation with the rep. I ended up getting the 16pro 1tb (please don't judge) and had to pay down payment and tax which total $423 😱. At the end, the rep sent a link for the Costco gift card and code for it. I tried to do it while the rep was on the phone, but wasn't able to complete it. The rep said I'll have to do it after the phone comes. Hopefully that'll work out. Trading in my iPhone 11 Pro and getting $100 next billing cycle and then $400 split thru 24month bill credit.
Does this sound alright? I've been with sprint for 25 years now and never bought a phone thru them since the iPhone 6s.
I did that same thing a few years ago. However, my latest bill credit deal they told me I'd lose the bill credits if I paid it off early.
My guess is it's to keep people from doing it just to resell.
The other thing people under the older plans have to take into consideration is whether they'll offer the same trade-in values again w/o adding new lines. In hindsight I should've waited a year before upgrading my old 12's since I only got $300 for them but they would not be unlocked until two years later.

Buy a $100 samsung s10e and sell 13PM privately - you would be $400 better off. Even apple gives you trade in of $350 for a 13 pro max
No-one should be trading in a phone worth more than $100 for this

I have an iPhone 12 and I didn't even want to let that go.
Bought cheap 10e's on Ebay
I personally wouldn't trade anything above a 13
$1330 inc tax+ $110 for s10e- $500 credit, $550 from sale of 14PM……$100 costco gift card…..
