I would avoid this phone as there is a big bug on software that makes your notifications disappear. I have one and it's driving me crazy, definitely looking to changing it soon.
I gave up on OnePlus after owning three of their phones.
My last one, the 12R, had persistent issues before I finally got rid of it. Gmail notifications stopped working, the phone would randomly overheat while streaming in my car, and in the summer, the screen would dim so much that it became unreadable because it would get hot. On top of that, constant Bluetooth issues made the experience even more frustrating.
Maybe they fixed some of it, but these were just a few of the issues I encountered.
How is it account locked? They only sell it unlocked?
Considering this deal is for open box devices, most likely the original purchaser didn't log out of their Google account, the Best Buy rep who checked in the device was too lazy to confirm the account had been cleared, and whatever geek squad person was supposed to prep the device for sale was likewise too lazy and/or DGAF to make sure the device was in sellable condition.
FYI, "unlocked" in the mobile phone means SIM unlocked, which is a different thing than what this person seems to be experiencing.
They sent me an account locked device. Thanks for wasting my time best buy!
odd. also odd.is when i made purchase i saw a note there would be restocking fee.
