However, Google's Simple Unlimited plan (which this is) only gives you free data in Canada & Mexico. Unlimited Plus Google's other plan gives you unlimited data in 200+ countries.

No thanks. Sticking with visible. I would maybe consider a plan that throttled to 1-5 mbps but 256kb in 2025 is insane.
fyi: I am paying $25 taxes + fees for 3 lines on unlimited plus plan in TX.
