Anyone did Fi Pixel pro deal? It's currently listed at $699 with $500 back over 24 months. Does that mean you get the phone for $199 if you keep it for 24 months?https://fi.google.com/about/phone...-pro?pli=1
yes, if you keep the service for 24 months then phone price is $199.

This plan appears to only have data for US, Mexico and Canada and no way to add data for roaming in other countries. I assume that there is no way to switch plans and go back to the discounted plan. Does Google Fi include Wifi calling that would work with data from another e-sim (or maybe separate wifi hotspot) while traveling outside of North America?

What happens if you port out to another provider before the 24 months is up? Seems like it's just the credits stop, but that seems pretty painless.

Ya it is a monthly 50% off so if you leave before 24 months then nothing happens. I th8nk they lost so many subscribers with visible and few other deals.so they are trying to bring in new customers with 24 months offers.

if you are switching, make sure to get extra savings.

This is super tempting to switch my 2 VZ prepaid lines and a xfinity mobile line I am paying for my mom to a single account 3 lines plan. How's Google fi service compared to VZ prepaid in terms of service priority and coverage? Also, what can I do w/ $200+ of VZ prepaid credit (buy hardware?)

Google Fi screws over their long term customers with these deals. But I guess all phone companies do. Encourages me to switch.
I completely agree. 24 months of service for five family members at 50% off would have been over $1,000 in my pocket, but we're not eligible because we've been loyal customers?

I considered canceling the entire family and signing on again, but a few family members purchased phones through the Google Fi store which require continuous activation and they would lose their phone discounts.

Google's requirements around continued activation are far too restrictive. I transfer service to an old phone when I go for bike rides but customer support warned me that I would lose my Pixel 9 discount if I moved service to my old phone for even 5 minutes. I explained that the continued activation policy was to prevent people from acquiring cheap phones and reselling them but they refuse to budge, so I returned the new Pixel and bought a Samsung as a 'fṳck you'. I think it's time to move the family to a different provider as an additional message to them in response to this "deal".

I see the full price of $80 for 2 lines. Am I missing something? Is this for select customers only?

The mid-tier option limits data to 35 GB per line. The top tier limits to 50 GB. After these limits, it's an additional $10/GB. This is an absolute deal breaker for those of us who use our phones heavily everyday.
