Good deal, but if you can afford it, go for the HS20 with flood and spot LEDs. It's awesome and worth 2.5x more.

It's not a typical Sofirn light. The construction just seems like a cheaply made headlamp. It's under the non-sofirn section of their site so I don't think they actually make it. A freshly charged H25S with both emitters is just as bright as the HS10 that has been used a bunch since full charge. I much prefer the compact size of the HS10, but the weight is nearly the same, as far as I can tell. I've had a few cheap headlamps with the click adjust angle and they never hold up. Use it when it's hot/cold/hot/cold and the plastic loses it's strength. The rubber friction mounts aren't perfect either, but they have been more reliable in my experience.
I'm sure you won't be terribly disappointed with a $15 bright and rechargeable headlamp. I just think there are better options for the exact same price.

damn, first im seeing these. going to pick one up next time they go on sale. Looks like they drop to $40 pretty regularly, but I don't see why they shouldn't drop to 20-25.

ill put it out there though... lots of people dont realize how little they need a spot beam on their headlamp. i actually prefer a dual flood for minimizing shadows, cri masking, and heat dissipation... but ill be damned if i wont find an excuse for an extra headlamp! the hs20 looks awesome for trail running and biking.

The h25 variants are awesome though. $15-20 bucks for a seriously decent headlamp? Hell yeah. It lets you just keep a bunch of them around. I have 10 or so. 2 at our cabin, one in each car, one in my tool bag, and a few around the house to rotate through. The headband is always the first to go. Either plastic mount cracks, or the elastic wears out. But it takes a few years... And a replacement strap is like $2 on aliexpress.

Sofirn makes great lights and headlamps, but this is not one of them. The tiny HS10 is better in every way, except for battery life maybe. Also $15

Can you elaborate? By the look it has fast release, longer battery life.

Adding 2 to my cart brings the total to $43.98 with "free shipping". Not sure what that's about but for that reason I'm out

Edit: looks like they fixed it. In for 2!

I've had what looks to be the same model (H25S) for a few years, and it's awesome. I've picked up newer and supposedly brighter ones since, but this one still beats them all. It's insanely bright and very versatile.
I have bought and used at least 10 other headlamps, and I haven't found another one that I would use outdoors over the H25S.

Totally agree. I use my HS20 all the time and it is awesome. My typical use is work in the basement or attic. It has long run time on one charge and perfect flood light distribution as well as hue. It is light and comfortable with convenient placement of buttons. I used to think that my old Fenix headlamp was good but once I got HS20 Fenix gets zero use.
