presumably if its on your Nintendo account and you sign in with your switch 2 and it's backwards compatible then yes lol it will work

Since you don't already have a switch I would wait and see if they issue a performance patch for the new switch, or maybe another remaster altogether for Switch 2. Rather than buying it now, since have others have mentioned, it goes on sale quite often
