At some point need to say the last version I bought was "crisp" enough. I live very close to Buffalo Bill's house (yes you can pay to stay overnight there). It's really not any higher fidelity in real life.

Unfortunately the transfer isn't great and no audio upgrade.
Especially if you have the criterion BR, upscaled should be fine for most imo.

I am not waiting for $10 anymore, but now sub-$15 is the new $10, I think. This movie has never been cheaper than $19.99 in its history according to CCC.

Most people don't have the criterion, compared to the original BR, it is a large boost in quality. https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go...7&i=13&l=0
And I don't think an Atmos soundtrack is gonna add a whole lot to this movie as much as I love Atmos...

Transfer is OK, I downloaded the full rip on pirate Bay. Unfortunately with a lot of these movies it's not that much better than the blu ray release.

I agree it is better than the non criterion BR, not sure I would say large boost though.
It definitely isn't a $20 boost worth especially since it's only half a boost at best!

A movie that's still a go-to to show what Atmos is capable of for me is A Quiet Place!
Great envelopment/immersion of sound is key in any movie imo.
