I screw on mason jars to my blenders threaded base at bottom of pitcher.
I honestly get the same result from a motor with way more power. It smashes ice WAY better and I get my smoothies, and juices in a glass or small container without the need to buy another device to clutter my counter or take up room in cabinets.

I do have to wonder though, can't they just use some high strength, laminated tempered glass or so? Would it be price prohibitive or something?
