For best value, get the 1 gateway+4 sensors, then load up on multiple 3 sensor packs. (Each gateway can handle 100 sensors.) TAKE8 is one per order, so do multiple orders.
These are the Govee.com coupons mentioned the most by Slickdeals users:
BOOM 10% off (confirmed on most products)
SPLASH-CAD 12% off (confirmed on various sensors, light strips, etc)
BLUESKY 15%-30% off on some products
TAKE5 $5 off per order (do multiple orders for multiple units) (better than the welcome offer, confirmed on various products)
TAKE8 $8 off per order (do multiple orders for multiple units, seems to be a CAN coupon that sometimes works on the USA site)
So we don't rehash lessons from previous Govee deal threads:
- Govee is a Chinese brand, but they tend to have exceptional quality, outstanding customer service/warranty, and many fans on SD, which is why they consistently hit the Front Page.
- Their Bluetooth only devices often pair with Govee WiFi hubs for their other products, allowing remote access to your devices out of the house and on the app. For example, their BT hygrometers connect to the v2 water sensor WiFi hub.
- There are no international transaction fees even though Chase says it's international.
- The warranty experience is much better when you buy direct, as opposed through Amazon. Your order is directly tied to the app, meaning you can initiate a recall of a defective unit with free shipping directly through the Govee app with one click; no phone calls or hassle.

The whole system came from amazon and cost me under $150.
You don't need any special smart home system to make this all work. You just need a couple apps on your phone.
This is the water shut off

Govee connect to the Govee Home app
The water shut off connects to the Smart Life app
To allow them to connect together you will need a free account with IFTTT.com. They have an applet there that will allow the sensor to trigger the shut off valve to close upon water detection.
The Govee sensors seem to require the Govee Home app to work, I would prefer to have Home Assistant or the Smart Life app control the shut off valve but I haven't yet figured that out yet.

I think I'd prefer then V2 since those use triple AAA batteries.
