I am all in one metroidvania/hollow knight type games. This one rates way up there for me in the genre! Loved it!

PS4 includes free PS5 upgrade. If you buy the PS5 you can't play it on PS4. I'm surprised anyone would buy the PS5 edition unless you got rid of your PS4s. Or you can buy the Xbox One version which already includes both One and Series X|S versions without jumping through upgrade hoops.

PSN has the "complete edition" for $25 which includes all the DLC if you're into that=

Mask of Darkness story DLC
Two Thrones outfit
Dark Prince outfit
Immortals outfit
Prosperity Bird amulet
Digital adventure guide

PSN also sells just the complete edition upgrade pack for $10, so same price if you want the physical media and you can get the DLC if you want. I see the story DLC is $5 by itself, the cosmetics are $3 each, but I can't find the bird amulet on PSN so dunno.

I think I'll buy the physical and if I like it I can pick up the story DLC later

Too bad this game didn't sell well because it's one of the best games of last year

Indies trained gamers to be used to 2D games to be cheap so any of them over $30 seem like they won't sell great
