100% polyester.

Junk.
Given the price this shirt probably is junk but it has nothing to do with the fabric. Professional athletes wear 100% poly shirts. It's the go-to fabric for performance wear. There's one of you in every thread.

Do professional athletes typically wear cantaloupe polos, apart from gigachads like Tiger Woods?

I'll pay you $8.24 to rock this shirt on a typical August day in, say, Ocala, FL. But yeah, I hear ya - there's usually a White Knight who stans for polyester threads in every thread as well; wonder when that guy's gonna show up...?

If a professional golfer was playing a round in Ocala, FL on a typical August day they would be wearing a 100% poly shirt. If a professional tennis player was playing a match in Ocala, FL on a typical August day they would be wearing a 100% poly shirt. Quiz time: What fabric makes up the jerseys of the Orlando City MLS team down the street from Ocala when they play their games outside in August?

You actually used white knight to describe someone stating facts about performance wear. How 'special' of you.

Shockingly, IDGAF about tennis so it didn't factor into my thinking but yes, some tennis players do wear polos so I concede that's a fair point. Add John McEnroe to the gigachad list.

That said, what's "special" is the fact you've deliberately...missed the point I was making, that a polo shirt is - in the vast majority of use cases - for casual/office wear and not for performing professional sports. I contend most normal people - in most normal use cases - will be far more comfortable in a polo shirt that breathes and doesn't wick in hot weather vs. a tightly woven polyester polo shirt that wicks but doesn't breathe. Besides, we can't all wear soccer jerseys to work like a dipsh*t.

Since you like facts: Professional athletes represent a ridiculously slim percentage of the world's population.

If you're looking for a polo for office/casual use then don't get a "performance" polo. Adidas and Under Armour also make their Performance Polos out of 100% polyester.

Have you considered the fact there's actually a large contingent of amateur golfers in hot/humid climates looking for polos in this type of material?

Since you didn't come at me like an absolute bellend I'll concede both of those points.
I will only counter that "performance" gets thrown around quite a bit when it comes to clothing, and while it usually does indicate 100% poly I do like to check and make sure I'm not missing something decent.
Thanks for your gentlemanly temperament, have a good wknd.

I actually love these Reebok polos at Walmart. They typically sell for $18 but they seem to be dumping off the colors that don't sell. These are like a golf shirt but not quite as thin. Also love the collars that won't roll like a traditional polo.

Price dropped to 7.51. All sizes still available other than M. Received mine today, great fit, and ordered a 2nd one.
