Junk.
I'll pay you $8.24 to rock this shirt on a typical August day in, say, Ocala, FL. But yeah, I hear ya - there's usually a White Knight who stans for polyester threads in every thread as well; wonder when that guy's gonna show up...?

You actually used white knight to describe someone stating facts about performance wear. How 'special' of you.

That said, what's "special" is the fact you've deliberately...missed the point I was making, that a polo shirt is - in the vast majority of use cases - for casual/office wear and not for performing professional sports. I contend most normal people - in most normal use cases - will be far more comfortable in a polo shirt that breathes and doesn't wick in hot weather vs. a tightly woven polyester polo shirt that wicks but doesn't breathe. Besides, we can't all wear soccer jerseys to work like a dipsh*t.
Since you like facts: Professional athletes represent a ridiculously slim percentage of the world's population.

Have you considered the fact there's actually a large contingent of amateur golfers in hot/humid climates looking for polos in this type of material?

I will only counter that "performance" gets thrown around quite a bit when it comes to clothing, and while it usually does indicate 100% poly I do like to check and make sure I'm not missing something decent.
Thanks for your gentlemanly temperament, have a good wknd.
