If you're going to write more than the pSLC cache can handle, the performance becomes absolutely terrible. Source. [techpowerup.com] Quote:

I agree. The MP44L is only $7 more and you get TLC NAND and a drive from a slightly more reputable company. The MP44L can be filled at an average of 1.7GB/s, ten times faster than the Orico O7000.
Given the level of spying the CCP does on Americans not laughable at all

Amazon product page gives no indication of manufacturer's warranty. Anyone know how long this is covered (before my Amex extended warranty benefit kicks in)? Thanks.

I'm seeing conflicting reports of NAND type (pretty sure it's QLC). This seems like a great deal based on the specs, however I'm not overly familiar with this brand.

most reviews I saw said qlc but it was still very fast. I also saw that early units were used inconsistent parts but hoping they've ironed thst out. I also think endurace specs you have are wrong. I believe it's 1200 for 2tb and 2400 for 4tb. Actually even your link says 1200 for 2tb.

You're right. Corrected the TBW from the techpowerup review.

QLC is going to be faster no matter who makes it. The problem is writing and wear leveling. You are quadruple tapping a single cell. This is why server drives are SLC. If you are just using this for storage, like steam games, it's perfect. If you are using it for a constantly logging OS drive, it's not optimal. TLC is bad enough.

appreciated. I waited on the Amazon page and kept refreshing. eventually someone holding on to the 4tb lost nerve or decided not to pull the trigger and I snagged it
