I've never transferred more than 450gb (or even 100), but yes if this is a normal use case for you it gets v slow. Otherwise they give it a good review

As the drive fills up, the cache size will shrink. I agree that by most metrics it will perform acceptably for most people. My argument is that you're only saving $7 compared to something like the Team Group MP44L.

Yeah but for normal users isn't that drive much slower + pcie gen 3 vs 4? Otherwise I'd agree that team group is more reputable but seems like performance will be worse for normal applications.

The MP44L is a TLC gen 4 drive. It does have lower peak sequentials (5GB/s vs 7GB/s) but that is likely not going to be noticeable to most users.

This is one of those brands where forums are filled with posts about failures after a few months. This is a cheap Chinese brand that has been caught in the past using harvested NAND chips and chips that didn't pass QC. Don't think I would trust them at all. Probably safer to stick with the usual high quality brands like Teamgroup, Crucial, Samsung, etc.

Absolutely not worth the meager savings to get a chinesium brand SSD without solid warranty support. Also, these specs sound good on paper but don't amount to much.

I'd be hesitant to use this in anything where the data is important to me. It might be okay as a PS5 drive, but that's about it.

I pulled the trigger on the 4 TB (mere $175) but then read the techpowerup review and I cancelled it. The post-SLC speed is ~160 MB/s... WTF. Worst of their tested bunch. Never getting swayed again by QLC drives even if their prices hit rock bottom.
