Basically there are (3) kinds yellow bins floating around out there and it's highly confusing to people

1) HDX. Sold at Home Depot only. Different dimensions, slightly taller, slightly shorter. Still 27 gallon. Diamond pattern lid. Can only stack with HDX.

2) Centrex-made "Commander" (used to be the standard one, sold at both Costco and Office Depot/Max, now sold at Lowes through their "Project Source" branding as Project Source Commander model), as well as Members Mark brand at Sam's Club Checkerboard pattern lid. 27 gallon. Can stack with each other, and #3 below.

3) Greenmade (now carried by Costco ,Office Depot/Max, Staples , Acehardwares , Tractor Supplies ) Diamond pattern lid. 27 gallon. Can stack with each other, and #2 above.

Sam's club sells members mark brand made by centrex plastic. Quality is a lot worse than greenmade

No one is saying you can't buy these. Go ahead and spend your money. It's just not a slick deal and doesn't belong here.

I'd pay $10 more for a clear version 😅
This. If you're using more than one of these and stacking them, you better be good at labeling, they're not the easiest to open

Picked up six the last time these came up at Office Depotmax, they were perfect for seasonal decorations. Last night, the wife just asked if we had another empty for her winter clothes. The sadness in her face when I told her that they were all full... this should brighten her day, just a bit.

In for ten, thanks OP!

Costco got them from manufacturer greenmade for $7.75. Not sure about OfficeMax , but assuming around the same. Other than the label the only difference is that this deal is accessible to people whom don't have Costco membership or have a Costco nearby 🤝

Note that these have now been ruined with holes in the lid which mean you cannot store these outside any more.

What a crock

Costco doesnt put these for under $12 on sale where I live. So I'll take the $9. It's good for some people. Thanks op.
