Went to my first location on my work lunch break. Thinking of going to one nearer to my house after work (working from home today). Some associates think they own the place and may require you to announce this at the drive thru speaker than at the window, even after you have placed your initial order (assuming you place an app order). Found this to be odd considering when they help you out at the drive thru, that is YOUR time until the order has been fulfilled.

You basically go there and see. With other freebies (Krispy Kreme); I have had it to where they do not seem to do any freebies on the promotion day that supposedly is nationwide. Super stingy. I have never had a problem with DQ locations yet. I wish they had it in the app; however, you run the risk of a one redemption offer. If you ask in person, the burden is on you to get the deal, but you can go to each location and ask.

Sometimes you can choose between vanilla or chocolate, even though their site only says vanilla!

DQ at The MarketPlace in Tustin, CA is NOT participating. Lots of disappointed people pout for a minute outside then walk away empty handed. I just got back from there myself. I ended up stopping by the local Stater Bros for some ice cream cones for the kids.
