I got this deal last year. The unit started to have a bad rattle a few months in, called support and had to drive to a local (40 miles away) dyson repair center then I had to pick it back up. So just keep that in mind. Its been fantastic since.

I got this deal last year. The unit started to have a bad rattle a few months in, called support and had to drive to a local (40 miles away) dyson repair center then I had to pick it back up. So just keep that in mind. Its been fantastic since.

Do these things even work in all honesty? Also, does it require expensive cartridge replacements?

I bought one from Costco about a month ago and it's been great. Filter replacements aren't obscenely expensive and mine came with two sets (not sure what refurbs come with).

Definitely recommend. This is a great price to pick one up

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they removed wifi from the heater versions. Someone probably did something stupid.

Kind of a luxury item but it's great having everything (heat/fan/purifier) in one package. For $220 it's a good deal considering the hp01 (less luxurious version) has gone for $150-200. Plus this has the kinda cool "back flow" that does purifying without the fan blowing on you. And confirmed the app can't control heat due to regulations (but the old hp01 can)

Costco has a similar model discounted to 299.97 (YMMV) in some stores. I was able to snag one! Comes with an extra filter I believe.

I bought it 3 times, all 3 came out broken, first one has sensor issue, it only shows exclamation sign. Returned back and ordered again. Came out electric motor has issue which has 5db more noise on lowest fan speed. Returned back and ordered higher level from same ebay store.
last one has issue on its stand and does not tilt easily, when I shake it, I can hear some small plastic particles are hitting around. and gap between stand and moving part is uneven. Last one has no impact on normal working so I wanted them to fix it in the service, but they are playing on time by asking different questions about the issue, so I will return it back if they still ask more questions about this issue.

I got it factory refurbished from woot. It has been working fine. No extra filter. Brand new condition.
I have another dyson that has wifi. I only use wifi to turn on and off the fan without reaching for the remote. $2 for a spare remote from aliexpress solves that problem.

Doing research and I'm seeing the hp7 being rated higher. I know this has a heating element but anyone have either or both. I see the HP7 for the same price on Dyson eBay store.

You can use the IR remote (Android app) to bypass the regulation and adjust temperature (heater mode) once paired.

Dyson ones surprisingly works better than some of my levoit. Dyson goes brrr when it detects my fart but the levoit ones I have doesn't do anything on auto even if I fart right next to it. Although I don't have the exact same model from this thread and I have the TP01 but still it works surprisingly better in my experience and thats why I decided to grab another one when there's a good deal.
