Just because it's "usable" doesn't mean it's going to be as flexible as you want a cord to be... especially something you're moving around a lot with like a snowblower.

Mixed reviews but multiple reviews indicating it's stiff when cold e.g. "my shop isn't heated and this cord absolutely hates the cold", "Rugged, but definitely not flexible in cold weather" etc.

Wrap electric/duct tapes on multiple sections if you are leaving these out when camping. People will think it's damaged and won't steal it.

Costco also has two 50 footers plus an extension end for $50.

Good price if you need one. I imagine these won't be any cheaper for a while given our current political situation.

The availability of Made in the USA electrical cords is pretty surprising. Somehow we still make these.

12 gauge and 100 ft is pretty hefty. Should be good for up to 15 amps or so. Would be perfect for an electric snow thrower if you need that much cord.

Not exactly. These aren't specifically 'cold weather' cords and will get pretty stiff in cold weather.

Definitely recommend a specific 'cold weather' cord for electric snowblower use. I've got a nice long 100ft one and it doesn't care if it's 70f or -10f, it just doesn't get stiff. Not really needed anymore though since I upgraded my snowblower to a gas-powered Toro.

Thanks OP. This 100Ft cord is a perfect replacement for my beat up, twisted extension cord for the emergency generator. The length should be more than enough to run from the generator to the first floor appliances such as fridge, internet related items, etc.

You're not wrong and it does get stiff a bit when it's about 15F out. For the price I'll bite. Thx for the feedback.

Agreed. I have this exact cord and can be really stiff and difficult to wrap up in freezing temps.

You are right, the 12 gauge cord is very heavy. I used to have one 100 ft from Costco, but in the shield for many years. the 16 gauge is OK for most case.
