It does not have an ups mode. The unit does not take in ac directly. There is a power brick that supplies dc to the charging jack. The same jack is used for solar and car charging too.

From what I've seen this is a good deal based on $ per wh for a power station.
This doesn't seem to support expansion like the smaller bluetti ac60.
The solar input is also pretty limited. 200w max 12-28 v

Got a Dud I think. Wireless phone charger doesn't work. Phone keeps on beeping saying charging then beeps again and stops over and over. While testing it with my laptop with a 320w power brick it was working fine but now says short. I can cycle the ac output on and off and reset the error but it keeps coming back after 30 seconds or so with laptop anyway.

For something like this I wouldn't chance a refurbished unit….all you need is for it to catch on fire or explode

21lbs seems heavy for 716Wh? Ecoflow 768Wh River 2 Pro is 19lbs but do cost more at $239

These use LiFePo4 Batteries, the chance of fire or explosion is pretty much impossible. I've had great success with these refurbished units and highly suggest them. Just make sure to test all features on them heavily for the 1st month after purchase.

I had bought one of these then returned -- the power brick to charge this is quite large and relatively inconvenient (much easier to just have a 3-prong standard cable) and even with that it charges at 200W max.

I ended up getting a Ecoflow River 2 Max (from some liquidator on eBay for $112.50) which I quite like.

I mean, I love my PS70! Great intro unit for the power! This is cheaper than what I paid, LiFePo4 instead of NMC, and a higher watt inverter. This with last thousands of cycles. C

To answer some questions - No AC pvass-through and there is no app for this model. DC to DC charging is possible by connecting 12v or 24v DC source via ring terminals to DC7909. 12v charging is limited to about 100 watts unless you also connect a 12v to 24v step-up converter, then you can charge at 200 watts.

What a Joke! The Wireless phone charger doesn't work with Apple (I've tried 3 iPhones) and possibly Samsung's. So basically 90% of all phones!

Dear customer,We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused, for the wireless charging problem, some Samsung and Apple mobile phone charging protocols may not be compatible with our machine. If you have other brands of mobile phones, it is recommended that you test it again.

Found River 2 max for $230, but only the River 3 for that cheap.

This takes 4-5 hours to fully charge from an AC outlet. The updated version, for $50 more, can charge much faster.
