Anyone know if the $100 giftcard is available for in store purchases?

It seems like there is an automatic $100 discount online for the free protection plan PLUS a $100 GC? Making it same price as in-store?

I went to Costco today to ask that question about the $100 gift card and they told me it was online only.

In store price at my Costco was $2199.99. Essentially the same as online deal.
