They warranty is not so user friendly.
. I had one Samsung and one Teamgroup sd that failed.
Samsung sent me a prepaid label, I sent it and about two weeks later I got a new (and faster sd).
Teamgroup asked me to pay for the shipping, if it wasn't working they would refund me the shipping fees and send me a new one. Since it was a 128gb I didn't want to risk paying for shipping and not getting the refund.
For what is worth I have about 10 items(including ram and a ssd) from them and that's the only thing that failed after several years.

Who is TeamGroup? Have you heard that before?
Seriously, Team group has been around for a long time. They make decent computer memory (RAM) and SSDs as well.

Can an android phone read and/or write to this? For example I could copy movies from my PC to it and then have my Pixel 9 play the movies using VLC or something?

TeamGroup products are garbage. I bought two 128GB USB drives from Newegg, and neither of them worked. I contacted TeamGroup for a warranty claim, but since I hadn't used them for two months, they told me to contact Newegg and said they don't care about the warranty.

most of us on slickdeals have bought a product that didn't work for us. I have bought stuff that was defective or didn't work for me.

Today, before a buy anything, I check reviews, user and pro reviews and I look at other people's experience. And I mostly buy stuff that has high review ratings for products.

NOW the TRUTH: there are always some people that the product doesn't work for them. I also look at most recent reviews from last month or so, to get current reviews.

You telling us you bought 2 drives and didn't test them for 2 months and both didn't work for you, and then called teamgroup and newegg, you waiting too long.

I had to LEARN when I get package to OPEN IT IMMEDIATELY to make sure it works and is not a lemon.

I have bough sandisk and samsung "fakes" from amazon, and I did return them, but UNLIKE YOU, I don't write everything sandisk or samsung sells sucks.

For a few years I was leary of teamgroup, and I eventually bough stuff from them, and they worked ok. I am glad you shared your experience, thanks.

It should.

Emphasis on the "should". Anecdotally, I recall wanting to transfer files from my phone to my MP3 player, years ago. I was about to give up, when I realized that my phone had a USB c port. And I had a USB c to micro USB adapter. So I connected the two. And eventually transferred the files I needed to transfer. But it wasn't easy. It kept fighting me every step of the way, loosing track of the connection every time I do much as looked at the wire funny.

Mine is 5.4GB short. Actual size 233GB instead of 238.4GB(standard for a 256GB drive on Windows). In fact this is a 250GB card marketed as "256GB".

Update: the USB-C Card Reader seems only support USB2.0 speed... So, you'll need your own 'pro' card reader to test the speed (mine tested 98.8mb/s read, and 91.66mb/s write).

Interesting. I generally format to NTFS and I see in your snapshot your card is in ex-fat format.

I will get my card this wed and test it out in NTFS (which I usually use).

I did find this on Amazon under the product:

With read speeds up to 160MB/s and write speeds up to 120MB/s, this high-performance SD card can handle continuous 4K UHD video recording from dashcams.https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-...BBJ56?th=1
