Did some quick research and this seems to run well on Switch and considered a good port. My backlog is huge but I am considering grabbing it for this low price.

Hmm, I have these on PC and like a true SDer I never played this.
Thinking of picking this up because it's on sale, which I'll probably never play.

Steam is having a deal on them also. Playing Exodus for the first time now so picked up the others. Great game so far!

Ok so I don't know anything about this series but have seen posts in the past about the game being popular.
Now i find out there is a book series that goes along with this... I'm now very intrigued.

So fellow SDers... how do I start? what game should I start with first after reading the books. I'm trying to look up what order to play but how do I translate that to what's available on the switch as that's the only console I have at the moment.

From Google :

Metro 2033 Redux is the first game in the Metro Redux bundle, which includes remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.

Start with Metro 2033. It's the first one in the series, but if you do decide to read the books just know that despite sharing the same name, they are completely different stories.

The book and game of 2033 have a similar plot but have a completely different journey to get there. 2034 has absolutely zero tie-ins to Last Light, and 2035 is like maybe 5% similar to Exodus.

I enjoyed both quite a bit though. I've played each game 2-3 times (Ranger Hardcore with Russian spoken language + English subtitles - the way the game was meant to be played), and just finished up the books a few weeks ago. They are fun in their own ways.

These games are excellent!! For 1.50 each , if youre looking for a really good atmospheric fps experience, do yourself a fair one and pick this up for 3 bucks... the games run fine on Switch (theyre old 360 titles, boosted up) .. very fun, linear single player games
