nope, they've gone too far this time. I don't need to put batteries in a salt and pepper shaker
Haha whereas I'd typically agree with you, I'll add that my mother has had surgery on her thumb and simply cannot do any manual grinding. She has one of these and it's been a great convenience for her. Even less work than a shaker, and much fresher. Win win.

Reviews have a continuous flow of reported failures of the salt grinder. Either the plastic grinder outright cracks and crumbles. Or the washers/lock washers pop off and the grinding tip falls out leaving it unfixable.
Timeline of complaints is also consistent 3-6 months for failure rate. Extreme cases were 6-12 uses.
No reported failures for peppercorn grinder. So something about build quality being able to handle salt rock seems to be the case.
For $10? Maybe worth the chsnce since it does include peppercorns and salt.
If only I could get my salt per ground. Ok. Yeah we had some like these (if not them). They did break. Maybe the pepper one was ok for "fresh pepper". But the salt was is not worth it.

It is a deal for us being we can't crank the manual I'm in for a set. Dam arthritis! Sad to admit it 😔
Visited Amazon for this deal, but ended up getting the deal for rechargeable ones. They were used but like new for seven dollars will receive them tomorrow so we'll see how they are.

Can confirm. Looking at my salt grinder that doesn't work next to my pepper grinder that does. It took about 2-3 years for the salt one to go out though, so $10 is a risk I'll take.

Which set did you get? Was it the same company? I see a $6.99 set from this company, ULN, but they use batteries.

I'm sure the rest of it will fall apart long before the battery fails.

But why does anyone need to (want to) grind their own salt?
