Hopefully the $1,000 in monthly deposits can be from another bank to avoid monthly fee, and not necessarily direct deposit like payroll etc. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Since the terms didn't exclude an external transfer via ACH from an outside bank, I made periodic ACH deposits via external bank transfer higher than their minimums. When the 90 days was up, I talked to multiple phone brokers, one phone manager, two in branch managers, and multiple corporate appeals people. The corporates claimed that an ACH transfer from an external bank was a real time transfer and not a direct deposit. Even more angering, the transactions had a "Type" description in their system of "Direct Deposit". I've added Huntington Bank to my black list, along with Key Bank and All America Bank. Those three play serious shenanigans, although this is the first one to outright reject any introspection that their terms had poor wording choices relative to what they chose to honor.
